The Los Angeles Lakers just capped off a very successful 9 game road trip (longest in team history) with an impressive 7-2 record that puts them at 35-17 overall. They make their Los Angeles return and Pau Gasol makes his Staples Center debut on Feb. 19th. However, there is some slightly worrisome news, as Kobe Bryant has re-injured the already bothersome pinky on his shooting hand. Kobe has opted to put off surgery, which could sideline him up to six weeks, until after the season and the Olympics this summer. On the positive side, he and the rest of his teammates have the NBA All Star Game break to rest up, recover from injuries and prepare for the 2nd half of the season. In addition, the presence of the newly acquired Gasol continues to offset the loss of injured Andrew Bynum and could also help pickup the slack if Kobe is not 100%. www.TicketRequest.com/sports.html has Lakers tickets and NBA tickets for all games and sections!
