Legendary Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre has apparently decided he wants to unretire and play in the NFL again this season, even if it's on another team. Favre and Packer management are now at odds, with the Packers committed to Aaron Rodgers as the new starting QB. Team officials and the coaching staff are telling Favre and his reps. that he is welcome back, but in a different capacity (as in backup QB). Favre is now on record saying play me or release me. Favre favors an outright release so that he can choose the team he joins. The Packers are refusing to release him and appear willing, albeit reluctant to entertain trade offers for the Packer icon.
