Led Zeppelin to reunite?

Perhaps the greatest rock band of all, the legendary Led Zeppelin, have announced that they plan to reunite in a memorial concert in tribute to Ahmet Ertegun, the late head of Atlantic Records. Following that performance (the date is TBA), if all goes well, they plan to mount a full scale tour possibly next year. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones would perform with Jason Bonham (son of the late John Bonham) on drums.

Led Zeppelin officially disbanded in 1980 following the death of Bonham. There have been a few sporadic performances since then, most notably at Live Aid in 1985 and the Plant/Page collaborations & tours throughout the 90's. Robert Plant has also had a successful solo career in the interim. But fans who have waited for a full fledged Zeppelin reunion and tour look like they will be getting their wish. Keep checking back here as we will be sure to update with any new info. in what would no doubt be one of the most highly anticipated tours in recent memory.

Update - Despite recent reports of a Led Zeppelin reunion, lead singer Robert Plant has laughed off these rumors saying "If there was [a Zeppelin reunion], then there wouldn't be enough doctors to support it!". Unfortunately it seems that rumors of the reunion may be just that, rumors. At least for now. Stay tuned.....
