
Now that the holidays are over and college football has crowned another controversial champion, it's time to look at what's coming up this winter.
Wicked continues it's record breaking run in theatres across the country while
Jersey Boys plays to packed houses.
Bette Midler begins her Vegas run in February followed by
Elton John. On the sports front, the
NFL Playoffs are winding down leading up to the
Super Bowl Feb. 3rd in Phoenix. The
NBA season is in full swing with the
NBA All Star Game scheduled for Feb. 17th in New Orleans.
NCAA College Basketball is just hitting conference play leading up to the
NCAA Tournament and
Final Four April 5-7th in San Antonio. The
NHL has hit the ice and has it's own
NHL All Star Game scheduled for Jan. 27th in Atlanta.
NCAA College Hockey is gearing up for the
Frozen Four April 10-12th in Denver. The

NASCAR continue to zig zag the country through the winter and spring.
Boxing is buzzing over several big name fights this winter
(Trinidad/Jones, Pavlik/Taylor, Klitschko/Ibragimov, Pacquiao/Marquez). Not to be outdone,
UFC has it's own lineup of marquee events this winter
(UFC 80, 81, 82). When it comes to concerts,
Van Halen continues their successful reunion tour.
Hanna Montana has been selling out arenas in record fashion through the spring.
The Jonas Brothers just announced their own upcoming tour (expected to run 2 years!).
Carrie Underwood & Keith Urban team up for a tour this winter/spring that will see Carrie perform dates on her own.
Garth Brooks hits L.A. in late January. Other performers touring this winter/spring include
Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, Avril Lavigne, Barry Manilow, Celtic Woman, Bill Joel, Linkin Park, Matchbox Twenty/Alanis Morissette, Michael Buble among others. On the horizon for the
spring/summer....
Radiohead, Rush, Def Leppard, John Mayer and Celine Dion will be touring later in the year along with many others. There is talk of possible
2008 tours for a reunited
